Tour of Kronotsky Reserve and Valley of Geysers

The tour passes through the territory of the Kronotsky natural biosphere reserve, where the world's largest brown bear population lives in the condition of wildlife, high numbers of animals and the primeval nature are preserved. During the tour, you will visit some of the brightest places in Kamchatka - the active volcano Burlyashiy, the caldera of the Uzon volcano. You will be able to see the Miracle of Light - an amazing and unique Valley of Geysers and walk along it. These natural geothermal systems of Kamchatka, having gained worldwide fame, are still almost intact. During helicopter flights you look at the volcanoes and the wild nature of Kamchatka.

Day 1. Meeting at the airport, transfer to Petropavlovsk (25 km.). Accommodation in the hotel, rest, walks around the city.
Day 2. Departure by helicopter to Kronotsky biosphere reserve, to the caldera of Burlyashiy volcano (1.5 hours). During the flight, inspect the volcanoes Avachinsky, Koryaksky, Zhupanovsky, as well as an acid lake, lapis lazuli, in the crater of Maly Semyachik volcano. Setting up the camp. Day 3. Walking tour of the caldera of Burlyashii volcano (5 - 6 hours), hot springs, fumaroles, microgasers and boiling mud boilers. Bathing in wild hot springs. It is possible to watch the bears. Overnight in tents.
4-5 days. Walk to the Valley of Geysers (25 km). During the hike you can observe the rich flora and fauna of the reserve. Overnight in tents. Upon arrival at the shelter "brook. The camp will be installed in a specially designated place.
Day 6. Walking pass (9 km.) And excursion to the Valley of Geysers. Survey boiling boilers, fumaroles, and more than 20 large geysers. In the evening return back (9 km.) To the camp.
Day 7. Walking tour (12 km.) Along the caldera of Uzon volcano, to hydrogen sulphide lakes through picturesque, colorful tundra, where you can observe bears feeding on berries. In the evening return to the camp.
Day 8. Walking tour (6 km.) Along the caldera of Uzon volcano to mud boilers and mud volcanoes. Recreation.
Day 9. Walking along the high alpine meadows (16 km.), Through the "Blue Dol" tract in the upper part of the river Taunšič, to the foot of the Taunšič volcano. Overnight in tents.
Day 10. Return by helicopter to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. On the way, an inspection of the Karymsky volcano, which is one of the most active volcanoes in Kamchatka. Accommodation at the recreation center in the resort area "Paratunka". Bathing in the pool with thermal water.
Day 11. City Tour. Visit to the museum of local lore. Visiting the fish market. Buying souvenirs from Kamchatka. If you want, this day you can take a boat trip along Avacha Bay, or another optional excursion.
Day 12. Delivery to the airport, seeing off.
